The engines are primed, the program is locked in and the countdown is officially on, with the release of the full Rare Spares and Repco Rockynats 06 program, now live on the Rockynats website.

All of the fan-favourites that crowds have come to know and love are returning for another massive year. From burnouts, drags and drifting to Show N Shine, the elite pavilion, RockabillyNats Pin Up Competition, Mulletfest, FMX Kaos stunt shows and more, Rockynats 06 will deliver wall-to-wall action across every precinct. From high-octane night shows to family-friendly entertainment throughout the day, every hour across the weekend is accounted for, with plenty to see and do for all ages and levels of motorsport interest.

With the program finalised, fans can now start planning their Rockynats experience, locking in must-see moments and discovering what’s new for 2026.

One of the standout additions this year is the brand new 4X4 Off-Road Zone at the Showgrounds Precinct, sponsored by TJM Rockhampton, reflecting the explosive growth of the 4WD scene and increasing demand from spectators to see it featured more prominently at Rockynats. Across the weekend, Dave ‘Dingo’ Darmody from the Australian Off-Road Academy will run live demonstrations on a purpose-built off-road course in the FMX Kaos Showgrounds Precinct, showing exactly what modern 4WDs are capable of. Dave explains that the demos are designed to showcase how modern 4WDs are equipped to perform in real conditions, covering everything from off-roading technology, and how to tackle challenging obstacles and terrain, to safe recovery techniques and tips for responsible, capable off-roading.

“Our goal is to show that you don’t need a fancy, expensive, highly spec’d 4WD to enjoy off-roading and do some really cool things,” says Dave. “Videos on social media are quick to show all the extremes, but we’ll be focusing on myth busting and giving people the knowledge and tools they to get the most out of their car, safely.”

“It’ll be interactive, people can ask questions, and we’ll have a range of male and female drivers, both from our team and the local 4WDing scene, to cater to all genders and level of 4WDing experience.”

Following a hugely successful debut last year, Speedway will also return to the FMX Kaos Showgrounds Precinct on Friday night, after drawing a packed grandstand and proving to be one of the biggest off-track entertainment hits at Rockynats 05. Delivered in partnership with the Rockhampton Saloon Car Club, this year’s event is set to build on that momentum, with a strong line-up of local drivers ready to put on another thrilling display of close, fast-paced racing that’ll make for an unforgettable night out for the whole family.

Live music will once again cap off a huge weekend, with iconic Aussie rock band TaxiRide ft. TTSAR set to kick off Sunday night’s Full Throttle Awards. Bringing pure Australian nostalgia to the FMX Kaos Showgrounds stage, the band will take fans straight back to the late ’90s and early 2000s – the era of windows-down road trips, burned CDs and blasting Get Set and Everywhere You Go on repeat. Any Sunday pass includes access to this must-see live performance, which will follow Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows’ exclusive concert on the Saturday night.

For those wanting to explore the full line-up of on-track and off-track events, the complete Rockynats program is now available via the Rockynats website: www.rockynats.com.au/program

General admission passes are still available across the entire weekend, from three-day Platinum Passes to weekend and single-day tickets. Children aged 12 and under enter free. Grab your tickets before the price rise on April 10: www.rockynats.com.au/GetTickets
