Rockynats has two burnout competitions, find out how to skid on the pad below.

Any vehicle that wishes to take part in the burnouts must comply with the event regulations – read those here(PDF, 201KB)

BURNOUT MASTERS

Win your ticket to compete in the Summernats Burnout Masters. The top three places will score a ticket to the Summernats Burnout Masters

ROCKYNATS BURNOUT CHAMPIONSHIP

The Burnout competition starts on Saturday as we select the finalists for Sunday.

Entrants must be scrutineered for burnouts when they go through scrutineering.

5pm - 6.30pm Burnout Championships
6.30pm - 8pm Burnout Masters Round 1
9pm Precinct Closes

 

SATURDAY 3 APRIL 
9am Precinct Opens
10am - 5pm Burnout Championships
10am - 2pm Burnout Gold Grandstand Viewing Session Time
3pm - 8pm Burnout Platinum Grandstand Viewing Session Time
5pm - 8pm Burnout Masters Round 2
9pm Precinct Closes

 

SUNDAY 4 APRIL 
10am Precinct Opens
11am - 3pm Burnout Championships Final
11am - 1pm Burnout Gold Grandstand Viewing Session Time
2pm - 4pm Burnout Platinum Grandstand Viewing Session Time
3pm - 4pm Burnout Masters Final
5pm Precinct Closes

 

THINGS TO REMEMBER

  • All entrants competing in burnouts are required to wear a fire suit meeting SFI standard 3.2A/5 as a minimum and a helmet meeting AS/NZS 1698:2006 as a minimum, this includes passengers.
  • All drivers and passengers will be subject to random breath testing
