Street Drags

A true street track is ready for racing at Rockynats with thousands in product, trophies and prize money up for grabs. 

Any vehicle that wishes to take part in the street drags must comply with the permitted sanctioning body standards. These will be available to entrants, closer to the event.

Drag racing is only available for pre-nominated on application and approved entrants, we have a limited number of slots. 

QUALIFYING

A great day out on Saturday offering entrants a chance to have some fun and also qualifying for the finalists to compete on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, entrants who qualified on Saturday will be invited to compete against each other in the below format.

THINGS TO REMEMBE 

  • You need to comply with the permitted sanctioning body standards and supplementary regulations, which will be available to entrants closer to the event.

  • All street registered cars must drive into the CBD precinct rather than bringing your car on a trailer.

WHERE ARE THE PIT AREAS/WHERE DO I LEAVE MY TRAILER FOR STREET DRAGS?

Please refer to the event maps when they are released for these locations. 

DO I NEED A TAIL SHAFT LOOP FOR STREET DRAGS?

Dependant on the vehicle performance and its modifications, tailshaft loops may be required for Street Drags entrants in accordance with the sanctioning body requirements. These will be available to entrants, closer to the event.

 

 

HOW DO I GET MY UNREGISTERED VEHICLE TO THE STREET DRAGS FROM BURNOUTS IF I ARRIVED ON A LARGE TRANSPORTER?

You will need to use a trailer or a tilt tray. There will be plenty of people around to do it as a mate or reach out to one of the local towy’s.
