HOW DO I ENTER MY CAR OR BIKE?

Head to our Entrant Page to find out how to enter your beast into Rockynats.

WHEN DO I GET MY ENTRANT TICKET?

Entrants get their tickets at scrutineering!

Just show up at your designated scrutineering time with your entrant number ready. Our friendly officials will confirm your registration, and you'll receive your wristband, buddy pass, and entrant goodie bag at scrutineering.

WHY NO SCRUTINEERING TIMES ON FRIDAY?

We need to have all entrants scrutineered prior to the event opening on Friday. Our last scrutineering time slot is Thursday night.

DO I NEED A MOTORSPORT AUSTRALIA LICENCE TO ENTER?

Rockynats is sanctioned by Motorsport Australia and other permitted sanctioning bodies, depending on the event element. If you have a Motorsport Australia licence, include this in your application.

Don’t have one? All good — licences are covered in your entry fee. Street Drags licensing requirements will be available closer to the event.

I WANT TO BE IN THE ELITE HALL?

Awesome! Send an email to admin@rockynats.com.au with your approved entrant number. This request will be forwarded to the Judging Team for review and approval. You will be notified via email prior to the event if successful.

WHO CAN BE IN MY VEHICLE OR ON MY BIKE FOR THE FRIDAY STREET PARADE

All passengers in vehicles and pillions on bikes must wear a valid wristband (entrant, buddy, or spectator).

Tickets cannot be scanned at the street parade form-up. Any ticketholders without a wristband must enter through Gate 1 as spectators. Please note that Showgrounds Precinct spectator gates do not open until 10am.

To avoid any issues, ensure all required wristbands are collected at scrutineering for drivers, riders, passengers and pillions.

WILL THERE BE A FUEL STORAGE FACILITY AS GENERAL ENTRANTS AND FOR CAMPERS?

AT EVENT
Entrants may bring fuel and refuel onsite (standards apply) but must remove fuel after the event as storage facilities are not available.

TENT CITY
Limited storage of additional fuel (external to vehicle tanks/cells) is permitted. Fuel must be stored in containers meeting Australian Standards and QLD Government regulations. Total additional quantities must not exceed 250L per vehicle. Fuel must remain in the vehicle at all times and refuelling is not permitted.

DURING THE STREET PARADE
Refuelling is not permitted. If you run out of fuel, please await a tow truck.

Cars

MY CAR IS NOT REGISTERED, CAN I STILL ENTER?

Yes, you can participate in everything including cruising in the CBD precinct. Unregistered cars can’t be driven to and from your accommodation or between venues. You must use a trailer / tow truck as normal road rules still apply. Please note that vehicles must meet the minimum scrutineering requirements.

WHY IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE FOR ME TO PARTICIPATE IN BURNOUTS & DRAGS?

Rockynats is one of the best value multi-day car and bike festivals in the country. Your standard car entry gets you and a buddy into the event as well as your car. Your bike entry gets you and a pillion into the show. Car and bike entrants also receive a goodie bag that includes a T-shirt and commemorative licence plate, and bike entrants also get a commemorative patch.

For those entrants who choose to take the burnout or drag racing option, you get all these entry benefits plus you’re now competing for serious cash and prizes. There’s over $30,000 in cash and prizes for burnouts and $20,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs in drag racing. Your entry also includes the appropriate sanctioning body licence. Burnout competitors get a minimum of two burnouts in the schedule and drag racing numbers are limited to ensure ample track time for everyone.

I NEED FURTHER INFORMATION ON COMPETITION SUPPORT VEHICLES?

Competition support vehicles are available for entrants competing in Burnouts, Street Drags, vehicles running methanol fuel and Elite Entrants only.

If you meet these criteria, you’ll be eligible to purchase a Competition Support Vehicle Pass at time of scrutineering. This pass is $50 and limited to one per entrant.
