Australia’s Biggest Street Parade

Rockynats 06 will once again kicks off with the iconic Street Parade with over 1,200 cars and bikes cruising from the Rockhampton Showgrounds to Quay Street and back.

The best part? This is one attraction you don’t even need a ticket for. Simply pull up a camp chair, grab a coffee and watch one of the biggest moving car shows in the country roll past on Friday morning.

The Expanded 4x4 Zone

Back bigger and better in 2026, the SWL Racing Team 4x4 Zone will be showcasing seriously impressive off-road rigs and capability demonstrations right across the weekend. Whether you’re a seasoned four-wheel-driver, camping fanatic or a wannabe weekender, this zone will be sure to deliver plenty of dirt, power and action.

See Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows, Live

Rockynats isn’t just about horsepower. It’s also known for its family-friendly, good-time atmosphere, with plenty of live music and entertainment across the weekend. On Saturday night, Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows will headline the FMX Kaos Showgrounds Precinct, delivering of all their greatest hits and top tracks from their new album. The show is automatically included in all Saturday Rockynats 06 passes, meaning you won’t even have to buy a separate ticket.

FMX Kaos Stunt Shows

Expect high-energy, heart-stopping motorbike stunt action as the FMX Kaos team launches skyward with death-defying tricks. Loud, fast and impossible to ignore, its’ one of Rockynats’ crowd-favourite off-the-track spectacles for good reason.

Off-Road RC Racing

Small scale, big competition. Watch RC racers battle it out on a purpose-built, competition-level off-road RC track at the FMX Kaos Showgrounds Precinct. It’s fast, technical and surprisingly intense — and a hit with spectators of all ages. There’s even an opportunity to have a crack at racing them yourself.

Skid Row

Less rules. More noise. More burnouts. Skid Row is exactly what it sounds like with entrants launching their machines down a straight track in a quest to determine who can lay the most epic burnout. It’s a slightly lower-stakes, accessible competition compared to the main burnout comp, but just as thrilling for spectators, making it a guaranteed crowd magnet.

Street Drag Racing

Rockynats is the only place in Australia where you can watch drag racing on a heritage-listed, riverside street. Cars of all makes, models and eras line up to battle it out over a quarter mile, a uniquely Rockynats experience you won’t see anywhere else thanks to sponsor Tuned by Chop!

Little Tokyo

Drift displays from some of Australia’s top JDM drivers, Asian street food pop-ups and a buzzing festival vibe, Little Tokyo is where motorsport meets culture. Feeling brave? If you’re 12 or over, you can even purchase a hot lap with one of the drivers to experience the thrill first-hand. Passenger rides go on sale in April.
