Rockynats 06 is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all patrons. The information below outlines accessibility services and facilities available across event precincts. Patrons are encouraged to plan ahead and use official maps and the Rockhampton Events app for the most up-to-date information.

Accessible Viewing Platforms

Accessible viewing platforms are available at selected event precincts and are identified on the official Rockynats event maps and in the Rockhampton Events app.

  • Burnouts Precinct: An accessible viewing platform is located within the Burnouts Precinct and provides improved sightlines to on-track Burnout action.
  • Street Drags Precinct: An accessible viewing platform is available within the Street Drags viewing area in the CBD.
  • Platforms are suitable for patrons using wheelchairs or mobility aids
  • Limited companion space may be available
  • Platforms operate on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Access is subject to capacity limits during peak times

Platform locations can be viewed on the Rockynats Event Maps or within the Rockhampton Events app.

Accessible Parking – Burnouts Precinct

Accessible parking at the Burnouts Precinct is limited.

  • Limited accessible parking is available in the VIP parking area (approximately 350m from the venue)
  • If VIP accessible parking is full, additional accessible parking is available in the Spectator Parking area
  • Access to the Spectator Parking area operates on a $10 donation to the Rockhampton Panthers Football Club
  • Spectator accessible parking spaces may be located up to a maximum of 400m from the venue

Accessible Drop-Off and Pick-Up – Burnouts Precinct

If accessible parking spaces are full, a designated bus stop may be used for drop-off and pick-up.

  • The bus stop is for drop-off and pick-up only
  • No parking is permitted at the bus stop
  • The drop-off point is approximately 550m from the ticketed entry point
  • A temporary footpath has been installed to support accessible pedestrian access
  • Please follow the directions of event staff and traffic controllers

Accessible Parking – Showgrounds & CBD Precincts

Accessible parking at the Rockhampton Showgrounds and CBD precincts is available in on-street locations near event areas.

  • Accessible parking availability may be limited during peak event times
  • Distances from parking areas to entry and viewing points may vary
  • Accessible parking locations are shown on event maps and in the app

Event Buses and Shuttle Services

Free event shuttle buses operate during Rockynats 06 to help patrons travel between event precincts.

  • Shuttle services operate between all major precincts
  • Services run approximately every 20–30 minutes during event hours
  • A valid Rockynats wristband is required to access shuttle buses
  • Shuttle stops are located near each precinct

Accessible Shuttle Buses

  • Accessible shuttle buses are in operation across shuttle routes
  • Drivers can assist with boarding and disembarking
  • Mobility aids can be accommodated within safe operating limits

Patrons are strongly encouraged to download the Rockhampton Events app, the official event app for Rockynats 06.
