Free Shuttle Buses

Event shuttle buses will operate to transport patrons between all precincts approximately every 20 to 30 minutes.

Patrons must present their Rockynats wristband to access this free service.

Shuttle buses will operate during event hours, with exact routes and times to be confirmed in 2026.

Taxi

Temporary taxi ranks are available at each event precinct near the shuttle bus stops for pick up and drop off.

  • Northside Burnout Precinct | Goodsall Street near Reaney Street closure
  • CBD Precinct | Gate 1 – Archer Street across from East Street, and Gate 2 – Alma Street after the William Street roundabout next to Green Brothers
  • Showgrounds Precinct | New Exhibition Road (existing rank)

VIP Shuttle Bus

Platinum ticketholders, Sponsors, Entrants and Buddies have access to a free dedicated VIP shuttle bus running continuously between the CBD and the Burnout Precinct.

The VIP shuttle operates from:

  • 171 Bolsover Street in the city centre
  • The Burnout Precinct transport hub on Reaney Street, a short walk from the entry gate

VIP shuttle operating times:

  • Saturday 18 April: 9:00am – 4:30pm
  • Sunday 19 April: 9:30am – 4:00pm

This service is exclusive to VIPs and is designed to keep your RN06 weekend smooth and stress free.

E-Scooters

Orange e-scooters are available to help patrons travel between Rare Spares and Repco Rockynats precincts. Allocated e-scooter parking bays are available at each precinct.

Spectator Parking

A range of parking options are available across all Rockynats precincts.

Buddy’s Fire Burnout Precinct

All-day parking is available via a $10 donation to the Rockhampton Panthers Football Club.

Parking is located at the Rockhampton Cricket Grounds, accessed via Goodsall Street off Lakes Creek Road.

  • Limited priority parking for Entrants and Platinum ticket holders
  • Limited VIP parking for VIP ticket holders

Showgrounds Precinct

Free on-street parking is available throughout the precinct.

CBD Precinct

  • Free on-street parking
  • Free public parking at 135 Alma Street carpark

Illegal parking or parking that restricts access to local homes or businesses will be monitored and may result in a fine or the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available at all precincts outside road closure areas.

A valid government-issued disability parking permit must be displayed. Accessible parking is monitored and enforced by Council Local Laws officers.
