Event Volunteers

Want to experience Queensland’s largest car festival up close and personal? If you want to be part of a unique and exciting car festival in the heart of Queensland, then we want you to be part of the Rockynats team! Easter Weekend 15-17 April 2022.

We are currently seeking passionate event volunteers to be a part of Rockynats 02. There is a wide variety of roles available where no experience is necessary – See below for role descriptions.

This role will assist with spectator and entrant camping check-in on Thursday 14 April 2022. Part of this role involves assistance with traffic management of cars and guiding/directing campers to their sites.


Guest Services are responsible for welcoming event patrons and providing directional assistance as well as monitoring queues to ensure a COVID safe event. These volunteers are instrumental to the overall guest experience. If you like being outdoors and moving around, this may be the role for you!


The Information Booth is where everyone goes to find out all there is to know about the event and the precinct. If you are good with people and love offering assistance, this may be the role for you!


This role is responsible for meeting and greeting our platinum ticket holders and sponsors and providing them access into the VIP areas. A polite and happy manner and great personal presentation are essential. 


Our runners play an integral role, working closely with the Rockynats event management team to do miscellaneous jobs throughout the event. This role involves lots of walking, so best suited to those active-natured souls!


The ticketing team is responsible for scanning tickets for all patrons entering the event precinct.  This is the ideal role for those who love to interact with lots of people and enjoy being part of a team environment. Onsite training will be provided.


The transport team is responsible for checking accreditation of patrons wishing to utilise the event shuttle buses, monitoring queues and providing directional assistance. Good communication skills are essential.
