We are working through an accreditation process to determine the access needs of residents and businesses within the designated CBD event precinct to ensure that there is as minimal impact as possible. Following this accreditation we will develop a Business and Resident Access Plan, which will be communicated to stakeholders and the community.

With over 80% of the entrants and cars coming from outside the region, this event will bring a huge economic benefit to the region. Rockhampton will be buzzing with activity and people over the three days. 

Yes, a program is being developed for a Park and Ride, and will be available as part of the event program.

Rockhampton Regional Council supports and encourages businesses to plan to be open and trade throughout Rockynats. This is a great opportunity to promote deals and run competitions. The Advance Rockhampton team we will work with you to promote any activities associated with Rockynats.

Yes, all parking restrictions within the CBD will be relaxed during the event dates. A program for Park and Ride is also being developed.
